How it works

Step 1: Add a SIM to Your Account

Open the Kastelo app. Go to GIGS. Tap "Add SIM."

Choose what you need:

  • eSIM (instant setup, scan a QR code or open a link)
  • Physical SIM (delivered to your door or pick up at Pargo at Clicks)

Each additional SIM costs R69.

Step 2: Choose Your Delivery Option

eSIM: We send you a QR code or setup link. Share it with the user (or yourself if it's for another device). They scan or open it on their device.

Physical SIM: We courier it to you, or you pick it up at your nearest Pargo point at Clicks. Just insert it into the device when it arrives and restart it.

Step 3: Create Profiles

Create sub-accounts for different users or devices. Examples:

  • Family (kids, spouse, elderly parents)
  • Work (field team, office team, freelancers)
  • Devices (tablet, hotspot, backup phone)

Step 4: Assign the SIM to a Profile

Once you've bought the SIM, assign it to a profile. That's how you control access and monitor usage for each number.

Step 5: Set Access Permissions

Decide exactly how each SIM is used:

  • Full access — Unrestricted internet and calls
  • WhatsApp only — Just WhatsApp (perfect for younger kids or limited work use)
  • Social media — YouTube, TikTok, Instagram, Facebook, X (and nothing else)
  • Custom mix — Pick the apps and services you allow

Step 6: Share Data and Monitor Usage

All your SIMs share data from your primary account. You decide how much each profile can use.

Set caps. Get alerts when someone's close to their limit. Top up individually or for the whole pool. You see everything in real time.

Yes. You can deactivate or remove SIMs from your account anytime.

Q: Do all SIMs share the same data pool?

Yes, at participating Pargo pickup points at Clicks. Select pickup during checkout and collect when ready.

You can send an eSIM by sharing a QR code or link generated in your Kastelo account. The recipient simply scans or opens it to get connected.

How do I send someone a physical SIM?

Choose a physical SIM when placing your order and enter the delivery address. We'll ship it directly to you or the recipient.

How do I activate a physical SIM?

Insert the SIM into the phone and restart the device. The SIM will activate automatically.

How do I create a linked account?

From your main account, create a new profile and assign a SIM or eSIM to it. This links the number to your account, so you can manage it easily.

What usage parameters can I set?

You can allow full data access or limit usage to specific apps like WhatsApp, TikTok, YouTube, Instagram, Facebook, or X. You can also restrict access to essentials like calls and SMS only.

How do I share data with my linked accounts?

Open the linked account, select "Transfer," and choose how much data you want to allocate from your GIGS balance.

Can I bring an existing number to a new linked number?

Yes, you can port an existing number from another network to Kastelo. We'll handle the process for you.

Can I add new numbers for my children?

Yes, you can create linked profiles for your children, control their data usage, and limit access to only approved apps.

What happens when a linked account runs out of data?

They'll lose access based on the limits you've set, but you can top them up instantly from your main GIGS balance.

Can I link an additional SIM to other devices?

From your main account, create a new profile and assign a SIM or eSIM to it. This links the number to your account, so you can manage it easily.

How many SIMs can I add to one account?

You can add up to 29 SIMs to your account and manage them all from one place.

Does each SIM have its own number?

Yes, every SIM or eSIM has its own unique number, even when linked to your main account.

Do linked accounts need their own login details?

No, you manage all linked accounts from your primary account, so there's no need for separate logins.

Can linked users see my balance or other accounts?

No, each linked profile is managed by you.
